This policy explains what radarcrypto.chat stores in your browser. The short answer: we don’t use cookies, and what we store on your device is what the app needs to work.
In short
- We don’t use cookies, neither our own nor third-party ones.
- No ads, no analytics and no trackers. That’s why you won’t see a cookie banner.
- The website only remembers the language you choose (
rc_lang). - The app stores your account, messages and settings in your browser so it can work. None of it is used to track you.
- Heads up: if you delete that data, you delete your account from that browser. Without your 12-word key, you won’t be able to get it back.
1. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files a website leaves in your browser, which the browser sends back on every visit; they’re often used to track you from one website to another. Local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB and the service worker cache) is used to keep data on your device and isn’t sent to any server on its own.
Spanish law (Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, the LSSI) requires your consent to store or access information on your device, except when it’s strictly necessary to provide a service you’ve asked for. Everything we store falls into this second category.
3. What the website stores
The home page (radarcrypto.chat in English and radarcrypto.chat/es/ in Spanish) stores just one thing in your browser:

4. What the app stores
The app (radarcrypto.chat/app/) stores everything it needs to work in your browser, because your account and conversations live on your device, not on our servers. It uses localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB and the service worker cache. All of it is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, and none of it is used to track you or for advertising.

Everything stays in your browser until you delete it, except sessionStorage, which is cleared when you close the tab, and some data the app cleans up on its own, such as pending sends (after 14 days) or the oldest files once they exceed 600 MB. Storing something doesn’t mean it’s sent to our servers: what leaves your device, and when, is explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. Before you delete anything
If you have notifications on, turn them off first in Settings → Notifications (Ajustes → Notificaciones): deleting your browser data doesn’t tell our server. And if you’re not going to use RadarCrypto anymore, remove your alerts and watches too.
6. How to delete them
You can delete radarcrypto.chat’s data from your browser settings. Menu names vary by version, but they’re usually here:
- Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium-based browsers (desktop): with radarcrypto.chat open, click the icon to the left of the address, go to the site settings and choose to delete its data. You can also do it from Settings → Privacy and security.
- Chrome on Android: ⋮ menu → Settings → Site settings → All sites; pick radarcrypto.chat and delete its data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data; search for radarcrypto.chat and remove it.
- Safari on Mac: Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data; search for radarcrypto.chat and remove it.
- Safari on iPhone and iPad: Settings → Safari (in recent versions, Settings → Apps → Safari) → Advanced → Website Data; find radarcrypto.chat and remove it.
- If you installed RadarCrypto as an app: uninstalling it may not delete its data; also check the site data in the browser you installed it with.
If you just want to free up space without losing your account, use the “Vaciar” (“Clear”) option for files in the app’s settings instead.
7. Changes and contact
If we ever use cookies or other technologies that aren’t strictly necessary (for example, for analytics), we’ll ask for your consent first and update this policy. For any questions, write to us at info@radarcrypto.fun.
